Roger Johnson

Roger retired from the FDIC in August 2015 after a six-year term appointment during the financial crisis of 2008-2009. He was a Resolutions and Receivership Specialist and held the position of Receiver-in-Charge and Closing Manager in the Strategic Operations Department in DRR Dallas. Roger participated in the closure of over 50 failed bank institutions. Prior to joining the FDIC, Roger was a career banker having served in executive positions with Citicorp, PNC Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and BancPLUS Mortgage Corp. Roger and his wife, Dianne, live in San Antonio, Texas, where they enjoy family, travel, and golf.  He was elected as a member of the AFDICA Board of Directors in October 2024.
