Stephen C. Douglas - Director At Large Retiring in 1999, he had over 30 years’ service with the FDIC. He began his career in bank examination but spent the majority dealing with failed banks. In the latter part of his career he was Assistant Director for Asset Disposition in Irvine, CA and Assistant Director for the Assistance Transactions Branch in Washington, DC. He returned in 2009 for two years to assist with the banking crisis working out of Dallas, TX and Jacksonville, FL. In 2015 he began an international consulting phase for the US Treasury and World Bank in Kyiy, Ukraine and Chisinau, Moldova with later assignments in Zambia and Honduras. He has a degree in Economics from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Banking School of the South at LSU. |
