Michael H. Krimminger is a Senior Counsel with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Prior to retiring on March 31, 2020, Mr. Krimminger was a partner whose practice focused on U.S. and international banking and financial institutions. Michael joined Cleary Gottlieb in 2012 after serving for more than two decades as a staff member and then in leadership positions with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), including as Deputy to the Chairman for Policy and General Counsel. Michael joined the FDIC in 1991 as a Counsel in the Legal Division, and then later served in the Office of Policy Development, Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, and the Office of the Chairman during his career. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and the Duke University School of Law. |
