Marybeth Bannon - Director At Large

Marybeth retired from Headquarters in December 2014. Her career of 25 years included various divisions (DCP and CU) and offices (NYRO, and Kansas City RO) and numerous details. She is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program. Her career started in the New York Regional Office, Kansas City, and Washington, DC. She holds a Deposit Insurance Claims Certificate and was part of bank pre-closing teams in 2009. Other collateral duties included the Chairman’s Diversity Advisory Council, the Workplace Excellence Council, the FDIC’s Toastmaster Club, and union steward for DCP in Washington. She received numerous awards and recognitions including the Annie Moore Chairman’s Award and Mission Achievement Award for her accomplishments in diversity.

She currently resides in New York City in the upper East Side of Manhattan where she happily resides with her adopted 9-year-old English Springer Spaniel Tiffany. For many years, she had been involved in Springer Rescue doing intake and always adopting. She keeps herself busy with going to museums and other NYC cultural events. She is an active member of the Lexington Democratic Club, for which she volunteers for local events such as the current goal to get out the vote and an active member of a non-profit Health Advocates for Older People. For many years, she was an active gardener and did her own landscaping. She received awards for her roses and was a member of the Rose Society in NY and Kansas City. She received her Master Gardening Certification from Cornell University. Now she admires gardens from a distance!
