It is a remarkable milestone to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Association of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Alumni (AFDICA). Ten years ago, a small group of former colleagues came together with a simple idea: to stay connected to the mission and friendships that was a part of their lives serving at the FDIC and the RTC. What began as a modest effort to reconnect retired and former colleagues and to further financial education has grown into a national network. Over the past decade, AFDICA has provided a place where shared memories, professional pride, and lasting friendships continue to thrive. As AFDICA celebrates its 10-year anniversary, members can look back on many lunch get togethers, annual meetings, webinars, newsletters, online forums, and the sharing of information that enriched and informed. The organization has stayed true to its core values of charity, education and fellowship by action.
